Banner material weight and finishing

All Banners are available in 13oz, 15oz and 18oz weight.  All banners and signs are printed using latex or UV inks.

All 13oz,15oz and 18oz vinyl banner prices include FREE regular ground shipping. (Usually 2-3 days to your door after final proof approval) 

• 13oz
  This is the Most Common / Most Popular Choice (standard durability and usually does the job just fine) refers to 13 ounce material and means the banner weighs 13 ounces per square yard of material. This is the amount of PVC used to coat the scrim. Generally a 13oz banner can last up to 1 year or more outdoors depending on environmental factors (Please reference our Durability and Warranty information to follow.)

• 15oz
  (medium durability) refers to 15 ounce material and means the banner weighs 15 ounces per square yard of material. This is the amount of PVC used to coat the scrim.

• 18oz
  (highest durability) refers to 15 ounce material and means the banner weighs 15 ounces per square yard of material. This is the amount of PVC used to coat the scrim. 2 sided banners require 18oz material for opacity to block out text/graphics showing through from the opposite side

Hems, Seams and Grommets

• Wind Slits, Pole pockets and Rope (500# nylon rope) is welded into the hems that you choose with about 2' of rope slack on both ends.

• Sorry no grommets can be used with the rope option.

• All of our banners include hemmed seams on all 4 sides and grommets. If you do not want grommets please advise us.

Banner Strength and Durability

• The strength of a banner is controlled by all the components that make up the banner itself. Ounce weight, thread count, thread denier and the quality of those components determine how strong the banner is.

Durability and Warranty

• Banner manufacturers do not offer any durability warranty for their banner material because of the extreme range of environments banners can be subjected to.

• The durability of all banner materials is significantly impacted by how it is installed, where it is installed, how long it is in use.

• The climate and how much wind and sun it is subject to greatly effect banner life.

• You can control how a banner is installed and how long it is up, but you can not control the weather.
